Raymond Ave Extension to the 110 Freeway

Below is a recent drawing by the City of Pasadena Transportation Department of the Raymond Avenue Extension to the 110 Freeway proposal. This project will make much better use of the unused capacity on Raymond Avenue, a Principle Mobility Corridor.  It will also create another much needed through-street from Pasadena to South Pasadena by connecting Raymond to State Street on the East side of Raymond Hill. This project is a major component of the Del Mar to 110 Diversion Project, which will channel 110-bound traffic to use mobility corridors rather than residential streets.
